I want to share my experience with a so-called “crypto recovery” firm that claims to retrieve lost assets, but their lack of expertise in fraud law and crypto forensics is alarming.
I reached out to "The Crypto Lawyers" for help recovering my crypto, and they quoted me $40,000 upfront, with an additional 15% success fee if funds were recovered. However, when I asked crucial questions about their process, they couldn’t provide any satisfactory answers. They demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of basic crypto concepts. For example, they had no idea what a “mixer” was, and when I inquired about the potential risks if funds were bridged, their “specialist” in fraud cases seemed completely unprepared and visibly flustered.
Rafael Yakobi, the person behind this scam operation, has a troubling reputation. He’s connected to a network of Israeli crypto recovery scams. There are numerous concerning posts about him across Reddit and other forums, you can find them through a quick search in Google.
I strongly advise avoiding these scammers and impostors who prey on vulnerable people. All their positive Google reviews are fake, so please don’t trust them with your money.
it’s crucial that we take proactive measures to protect others from falling victim to these scammers. Whether you’ve been personally affected or not, here’s how you can help:
- Leave reviews where it hurts the most: Post an honest review on Google Reviews (currently full of fake positive reviews) and on Trustpilot. Highlight your experience or concerns to warn others.
Let’s work together to ensure these predatory scammers are exposed, and no one else falls victim to their deceitful practices.
