  It all began with a crypto trading group I was invited to on Telegram. It looked exclusive and that they only allowed serious investors. The admins shared charts daily gave out signals and claimed they had insider access to market movements. At first everything looked legit. I followed one of their early trade suggestions and made a small profit which gave me a sense of trust in the group.A few days later they announced a planned group buy into a new token that was supposedly launching soon. They said it had massive potential and would 10x in an hour if we acted fast. Everyone in the group was hyped. Screenshots of past wins flooded the chat and it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime chance. I let my guard down and invested $18000 in USDT.The token launched and spiked for a few minutes just as they said. But almost immediately after it crashed to near zero. My entire investment was gone within 30 minutes. That’s when I realized I’d been caught in a classic pump-and-dump scam. The admins went silent. The group was deleted. And I was left staring at an empty wallet and a sinking feeling in my chest.I turned to Reddit and Google trying to see if anyone had ever recovered from this kind of fraud.
