Dear lawyers, within the borders of ongoing partnership between the citizen of French Republic, a benefactor, the honorable member of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Raymond Yezeguelian and the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia Raymond Yezeguelian pronounced his wish to pay in advance the membership fees, defined by the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA, for 1 (one) year of 50 more advocates.

In connection with the noted initiative and according to the decision of the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA from 25.07.2016 nom. 226-L the order of granting of 50 advocates with the “Lawyer Yereguelian” scholarship has been confirmed, whereas a commission has been formed to decide the winners, according to the order of the turn the preference will be given to the following lawyers:   

1) To the lawyers born in 1991 after the 1-st of January (inclusive), not more than 40 lawyers. In this group the preference is given to the younger lawyers.  

    2) To women lawyers, who are lonely mothers, not more than 10 (ten) lawyers. According to this order as a lonely mother can be regarded not a married woman, caring after at least one adolescent child, in whose birth certificate a) the father is not registered b) the registration of father has been made in the order of RA legislation system: from mother’s indication or c) the child’s father died or d) according to the RA legislation the child’s father was recognized as absentee or dead.  In this group the preference is given to women having more children and in case of equal amount of children to lawyers having younger children.

According to the order the total decided 50 winners will be given appropriate certificates.

We also want to remind that within the borders of cooperation between the benefactor Raymond Yezeguelian and the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia during the years 2015 and 2016 the certificates of membership fees in advance payment had been given to totally 160 lawyers, the 80 of which work in different regions of Republic of Armenia and 80 lawyers work in Yerevan city.
