The Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia invites you on the 30-th of August at 14:00 to participate in the discussion-lecture of the member of the Chamber of advocates of Paris, advocate Sevak Torosyan on the topic of "The role of advocates during legal proceedings of political importance".
The participation in the mentioned discussion will be estimated for each advocate as 4 compulsory academical hours of retraining.

The Summary of Sevak Torosyan's working activity

Ingaged in cases of criminal matters advocate Sevak Torosyan is one of the 650 advocates worldwide who is entitled to appear in International Criminal Court.
By the way, he was the first one to create in 2013 the doctrine of "Political criminal right". That was a new course that from that time on is taught in the university. Today Sevak Torosyan defends the interests of the member of French National Independent Union, deputy Francois Rochblanc, the proceedings against whom was instituted on the base of claim presented by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The issue refers to Rochblanc's announcement of that country " displaying terroristic conduct". This was qualified as slander and assuming the defense of the deputy the Armenian advocate began to revert to the very topic of instituted by foreign countries proceedings in France that regard to terrorism.

Ough to his efforts had been breached proceedings against Maif-s trade-unions in 2014.

The same success was reached when he was defending the case of one of "The Galeries Lafayette" employees, who had been fired in a year before his retirement for stealing things from the dustbin.
Sevak Torosyan also defended the case of colonel Alexis Arifi ( SDIS14). The discussions of the case took place in the 11-th correctional chamber, where the most outstanding political French cases are being discussed.
On defending the rights of former Palestine minister Mohammed Dahlan who strived to rule the country  after Mahmoud Abbas, yet became deputy deported to the Emirates, in April of 2015 gained from the anti-corruption Ramallah Court a verdict of historical importance. This verdict became the symbol of Palestine jurisdiction independence, opposing it to to the efforts of the allmighty executive.
This year on the 6–th of July in the frames of Kuashi case he assumed the case of journalist Jean Paul Neill's defense, that had been sent by the 17-th correctional chamber of Paris Court. The journalist on the 7-th January of 2015 in Charlie Hebdo on the very day of terrorism spread the identity of the executors, meanwhile the police was still in active search of the terrorists.
