Dear advocates,

By the decision of the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA from 21.12.2016 № 500-L  that is “About calling a common session of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia” on the 11-th of February 2017 from 10:00 in the hall of the administrative building of the Chamber of Advocates of RA (address: Zaqyan 2 street, 2-nd floor) in distant order (without convening a general session) has been invited a regular common session of the Chamber of Advocates of RA with the following agenda:  

   ● Voting for the members of the Bar Council of the Chamber of Advocates of RA.

   ● Voting for persons involved in the preparation of the disciplinary work of the Chamber of Advocates of RA.  

   ● The issue of defining “The advocate’s day”

1. The voting on the issues concerning the agenda of the common session starts on the 11-th of February from 10⁰⁰ and terminates on the same day at 17⁰⁰.

2. The nomination of the candidates (self-nomination) for the post of a member of the Council of the Bar of the Chamber of Advocates of RA, as also persons responsible for the preparation of disciplinary work  starts on the 14-th of January 2017 (inclusive) and terminates on the 19-th of January 2017 (inclusive).   

 3. Advocates can present suggestions on the defining of “The advocate’s day” from the 14-th of January 2017 (inclusive) to the 19-th of January (inclusive).     

4. The propaganda of the candidates for the posts of members of the Council of the Bar of the Chamber of Advocates of RA and the persons preparing disciplinary work starts from the 20-th of January 2017 (inclusive) and terminates on the 9-th of February 2017 (inclusive) at 18:00.  

 5. Each advocate has to participate in the voting personally.   

 6. On the day of the voting one should arrive with an identification document or an advocate license.  

7. The secrecy of ballot is not only an advocate’s right but obligation.
