On the 20-th of February 2017 in the Ministry of Justice of RA  took place a meeting between the minister of justice of RA Arpine Hovhannisyan, the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan and the head of the Criminal Executive Service of the MJ of RA Artur Osikyan.  

In the frames of the meeting were discussed the main urgent issues on advocacy and criminal execution matters, in the result of which the participants noted down the following:

1. it isn’t allowed to search the advocate while he is directly performing his professional duties,

2. the person and the things he has with him on entering or leaving the criminal executive institution can be examined by the board of the administration of the criminal executive institution,   

3. the examination of the documents possessed by the advocate entering the criminal executive institution is realized without getting acquainted to their content,

4. the criminal executive service will take additional measures aiming to ensure the safety of the things that have been prohibited and are left by the visitors of the institution in the validation counter (the checkpoint),  

5. The Ministry of Justice of RA will make a subject of discussion some kind of things,   for example computers necessary in advocacy, the maintenance of which requires appropriate conditions, the necessity of adequate legislative amendments on the issue of reconsidering their involvement in the list of things that are prohibited.
