Dear advocates,

On February 28, 2019, the Chamber’s initiation of holding an exhibition for law firms was discussed within the framework of the Advocates’ Club.

Representatives of law firms, particularly Armen Ter-Tachatyan, Aram Vardevanyan, Armine Khachatryan. Levon Sahakyan, Harutyun Harutyunyan, Karen Mezhlumyan, Ara Ghazaryan, Vahagn Mnacakanyan, Armen Hakobyan, Aram Orbelyan, made speeches during the discussion.  The representatives of law firms came up with a number of suggestions on procedural matters of organizing the exhibition and ended up with the following conclusion: 

-For better and more professional organization of the exhibition, refer to a specialist,

- Provide an opportunity for private entrepreneur-advocates also to take part in the exhibition,

- Within the framework of the exhibition, organize presentation of field reports in order to make the exhibition more interesting,

- Set minimum standards for participation in the exhibition, such as availability of booklets, business cards, representative documents, etc,

- Invite students, attendees of the School of the Advocates of RA to the exhibition and ensure the coverage by mass media.

Summing up the presented suggestions:

We inform:

1. An exhibition of law firms will be held at "YEREVAN EXPO" Center, on April 23, 2019, from 10:00 to18:00      (Address: 0033, Yerevan, Hakob Hakobyan St., Building 3),

2. Law firms, which are categorized as private entrepreneurships, or legal persons (the 100 percent participants of the legal person should be advocates) can take part in the exhibition. For participation, the law firms must:

2.1. submit a written application for participation to the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia till 15.03.2019  (signed by the head of the executive body or by an individual entrepreneur advocate, if the applicant is a legal person, information about the participants is also required).

 2.2. in the application or in a separate written statement will confirm, that in order to take part in the exhibition the law firm:

- will pay the amount required for the booth in advance to “Prom Expo” LLC,

- the law firm will present the following minimum information materials in the exhibition: 100 business cards, 100 brochures, 50 pens, 1 X-Banner.

* Booth 6 sq. meters - cost 25 000 AMD (includes rear and side walls, front panel with the name of organization, 1 table, 2 chairs, 220 V power supply).

The Chamber of Advocates of RA, The Office of Public Defender, The School of Advocates of RA will also take part in the exhibition. 

P. S. Once the applications have been accepted, another meeting of the representatives of law firms will be invited to discuss the matters referring the organizational process of the exhibition.
