TRAINING SESSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS

WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS TRUST FUND

The European Court of Human Rights, with the support of the Human Rights Trust Fund, organises training sessions aimed at magistrates and lawyers within the framework of a Training institute located on the Court’s premises.  This programme is implemented in co-operation with the Council of Europe’s HELP programme.

 These intensive sessions allow participants to discover the Court from the inside, to attend a hearing, to meet with judges and registry members.

 The travel and subsistence expenses of the participants are fully borne.

 The first session will take place on 4 and 5 April 2012. This session is aimed at Armenian magistrates and lawyers. The session will be held in English; knowledge, even passive, of this language is preferable.  The draft programme is appended.
